We create these events with the player in mind, because we are players. No two events will be exactly the same as we continually pull from the best ideas we see by playing tournaments all over the world. See You There!
A.L.P DUPR Rating Event #1
A.L.P 3.0 DUPR OR WORSE - Must be rated under 3.0 at sign up or not have a current DUPR rating.
Location: NW Austin (Disclosed after registration)
Time: Sunday, May 7th @ 3-5PM
Entry Fee: $100 per Team of 4 (Ideally 2 men, 2 women but we’ll adapt) $50 for Teams of 2, $25 for singles (Will get paired Up)
Winning Team of 4 - $200 Cash Prize Plus Side Out Tshirts!
FORMAT:
Game 1: Women’s Doubles
Game 2: Men’s Doubles
Game 3: Mixed Doubles 1
Game 4: Mixed Doubles 2
** For this Event only, we will use regular scoring instead of rally scoring. Games to 11, win by 2. Need an official rating to play in future events, great way to get started!
- If tied at 2 to 2 after 4 games - Goes to Single Slam. Regular scoring to 5. Rotate 2 new players every 1 point. At 4, each team picks their player until the tiebreaker is completed.
- If after Game 3; the game score is 3-0. The match is over.
** Let Serves that land in the proper service box are IN
All Scored will be entered in DUPR by Side Out
—1 Timeout per Game per Team. 60 seconds
Injury Timeout is 3 minutes.
A.L.P Challenge #1
Calling all Pickleball Players, 3.99 DUPR Rated or WORSE. 4.0+ Need not apply.
Tired of waiting an hour between rec games or much longer at tournaments to play the same format? Welcome to A.L.P! Have you been dying to play the MLP Format? Each event hosts four teams of four players (2 girls, 2 guys). One Mixed doubles match, one Women’s Doubles, one Men’s Doubles & finally a singles tiebreaker if necessary. Each team participating will be guaranteed 6 matches.
Please include your DUPR rating when signing up! We will group teams by skill level to create most competitive games possible and possibly do multiple events. Our FIRST event will be Sunday, April 30th. Substitutions are fine as long as skill level of sub is below 4.0. Entry fee per team will be $100, with $75 going to the cash prize pool & the remainder going towards winning team prizes.
